          I too have stood there on the plaza before Cologne Cathedral -- a breathtaking sight! Thanks so much to Helden for sharing that video clip with us! That said, I'm not sure the Panther in that clip is the same Panther as the one the GI is standing beside in note #1. In the video clip, the Panther's turret is left at the 2PM position after the internal explosions, whereas the turret in note #1 is almost at Noon. Also, the condition of the tread on the right-hand side of the Panther in note #1 appears to be more damaged than that on the Panther in the video. I suppose one might speculate that the Panther in the video had to be pushed out of the middle of the street, and in so doing the turret was turned and the right tread was further damaged...

          A great video in any case!
