HH was into signing low level docs ....so it is even less believable that a facsimile stamp would be on something so less than ordinary and so highly coveted.
In other words the stamp is there to get past the signature 'experts'
I fully agree with your conclusions and thank you for taking the time to look at this - I had not seen a "letter" like this before.
Best regards,

Gentlemen,
Being the auctioneer of this letter, I would like to thank you for your comments. Please feel free to let me know whenever you encounter a questionable item in our sales so that I may address the problem immediately.
Obviously, we did not claim and are not selling the letter as hand-signed by Himmler - clearly it bears a rubber stamp signature. And yes, I have not encountered this form of letter before. There are exceptions to every rule - for example, authentic presidential land grants signed post 1832. This letter is marked as a being sent from the field, and bears what we believe is Jost's legitimate signature. We had but one exemplar to work with, and the type font is credible and period. It is conceivable that if there were a compelling reason to send it, or if Himmler was unavailable for an extended period, it could have been sent by his proxy, Jost. And why would a forger embellish the letter with Jost's signature, when he could apply the forgery to a much better content item?
I will consult with TK ring expert Don Boyle and advise you on his thoughts.
Have consulted with Don and apparently a few of these letters have made their way into the market. It's withdrawn, I apologize, and thank you for your efforts.
