Photo album of RKT Major Klaus Düwell

Hi,

I thought I would share a selection of photos from an album which belonged to Ritterkreuzträger Klaus Düwell.

The album starts with photos of Athens in 1943 (tourist type photos only) and ends with photos of his service in Italy. The Italy photos are dated from late 1944 to March 1945.

I have included captions which accompanied these photos. Unfortunately most are in Suetterlin script so I would be very grateful if someone could decypher them for me.

Next is a selection of photos of a visit by two Generals and staff. Düwell talks to them in some photos. Caption mentions 305 ID but I cannot read the rest. Can anyone ID whose in these photos.
