    SS Germania wedding

I dont collect photos, in fact these are my first!

However when I saw these I was absolutley fascinated by the whole thing and had to buy them.

I am essentially an SS insignia and TR awards collector and these pictures have it all!

An amazing insight into an SS ceremony and BDM girls to boot!

I thought I would share them here for others to enjoy

    Regards

    Nick

Since there's children in the photo and looking at the date I suspect she was a widow. Also the late date is probably the reason he's not wearing a dress uniform.

Really great pic's. The children could be relatives, friends kids.... who knows? Tom

                      Hello.

                      I like your first photos.

Believe me, it can get addictive. One period photo of each medal, cap, jacket, etc that you have in your collection...

I spend too much money on photos.

In post three, is the SS insignia coloured over by the seller of the photos or something else.
I notice you have one unaltered and one coloured.

                      Thanks for sharing.

                      Best,
                      Chris.

The town where the mariage took place is Peitz:

Congratulations Woolgar. A difficult time to be married, normally the war starts after the ceremony.

Here is some information from the groom's RuSHA file.
