    Willrich Postcard Opinions

    Hi guys,
I can really use your help with this card. Is there anything to look for in a card to tell if it is an original or a reprint. I have obtained several over the years, but they are not my main area of collecting. I think these cards are great and would like to start collecting more of them. But I don't want to collect reprints. Your advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    John

Looks ok to me. Might have been in an album at some point.

Thanks Curt, any other opinions? Any hints as to what I should look for in an original card?
      Thanks,
      John

Clean, crisp printing on the back is important. Nearly all of the reprints have "fuzzy" or blotchy printing. Also, virtually all of the reprints I've encountered do "glow" under a black (uv) light. Hope that helps. I have collected Wolf Willrich postcards since the early 1980's and currently have about 50 of them (although several are duplicates).

Thanks fredswiss , I just went through my 18 cards and it would seem that I only have 1 bad one. Thanks for the insight on how to check for an original card.
          Best regards,
          John
