    Hi Geoff,

Are you referring to the restaurant in the Kehlsteinhaus?

    Happy holidays, my friend,

I sometimes think there are more pieces of that desk around than pieces of the 'True Cross'.

Over the years I have seen these come up many many times, a few a number of times.

caveat emptor is all I have to say.

        Hi James,

Best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful holiday season!

I was referring to a different restaurant in the area, that Obersalzberg mentioned (don't know if he wants to remain anonymous here, and not name that restaurant, but I know which one he's talking about).

I'm not being all mysterious and secretive...its just he'd probably rather not have the information made public.

            I'm sure you have...

If the price was over $50 I wouldn't have bought it. The postcard is orignal so we know the GI was in Berchtesgaden and walking around the Berghof. I would like to know what type of wood it is ... and if the nails are " period". I have many interior shots of the Berghof ... maybe I can find a desk that the wood could have come from.

I'm just going to convince myself it's real.
