    ss poster

    Hello,
I'd like to post this poster (HOPING THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE...) before putting it on sale in the e-stand, for very welcome discussions and comments, according to the forum's rules.
I'm totally out of paper items, but I can say that this, and some identical other I owned , is part of a bigger amount found in the East Europe some years ago, and already "expertised" and put on sale, sometime at crazy prices, in internet too in the past, as far as I can remember.
Please remember that quality of print is much better than my pics show, and I also cut part of the cap skull and the orange stipe.
Dimensions are 42x64 centimetres (circa), and there is the name "HOCH" in the lower left corner.
They all where i mint condition, and this is the reason (at least it's what I've been told...) for the yet unprinted orange stripe.
Again, any opinion from who's more expert than me, is welcome!
    Daniele

      Hi MG42,

I got the same poster but with the SS-Division D'assault Franckreich inscription on the orange part.
I agree with you:they are a part of a big stock but I really don't know where they came from.
I bought my one from Regimentals a couple of years ago for 500euros I think and it looks very ok(the paper seems recycleted).

      Hope it can help you.

      PS-where you came from?

Just to add to the list I picked mine up several years ago..and yes..it came from a big lot which was found. I was able to get it early and at a reasonable price of $200.00. I think any SS poster is going to eventually command a nice price becasue they are rare..even these will dry up in a few years and go for higher prices still. I know of several SS foreign legion posters that were selling in excess of $3000.00 a few years ago..still too steep for me on a paper item.

I think the price of our kind of gonna grow up with the time....anyway this kind of poster is for the foreign legions as well:I suppose tha the some branches had to print the adress and the name of the division on the lower part in orange.

My one got the SS-Frankreich adress in paris.

The cost now is 600euro circa (www.weitze.net) but without the writings on the orange part.
