FJ photo query, help needed please

Hello, I have been asked by a friend to find some information on this photo. Please, can anybody help on this one? It is a super sharp photo, note the M38 para helmet in the background. The description may help;-

Dear Forum members, I would be most grateful if you could give me any information regarding this photo - the reverse is annotated "Flugplatz Utrikowo anfang 1942". Cheers!

    Thank you,

    Kerry.

Basic info without really seeing photo:

The annotation Is something about an airfield in utrikowo, in early 1942. From what I can find, I would say Utrikovo is not too far East of Smolensk

BTW- Kerry, the pic is very small, and cant enlarge it...just so you know

              Hi Kerry,

the village Utrikovo is situated between Smolensk and Kaluga, it belongs to the region Kaluga, and the district Spas-Demensk, on the right hand of the A 130.

To the troops: they could be soldiers of the 7. Fliegerdivision, deployed there near to Smolensk from September 1942. So it cannot be in early 1942, but 1943.
Besides the soldiers of the Luftwaffe fighting as infantrymen got the white winter clothing first in the winter 1942/43, which they could wear on both sides.

              That´s all I could find.

              Regards

              Bert

                  Nice photo.

There is a mix of Heer and Luftwaffe men here, the Heer being the two officers to the left with cap and side cap. I'm not sure what colour the piping is on the cap thus denoting branch of service but it's not infantry white.

                  Regards,
                  Chris.

Thanks again folks, it has been very helpful to my friend. He has asked me to post this, which came with the other photo. It will not provide any extra info, but, as he says, it is a very nice image,
                    Kerry.

                      Hello.

                      Army troops.

One of the officers from preceding photo.

Loading a sledge by the look of it.

                      Note mp40.

                      Nice.
