        It's a special 50th Birthday of Hitler edition (20 april 1939).

I believe the page with gothic writing says it was giving to people in the Ostmark and the Sudetenland.

        I can't comment on rarity...but I agree it's a very nice example.

The signature is that of a Kreisleiter (county leader) of the NSDAP, the nazi party.

I somehow doubt that its rare though.

A better pic of the stamp next to the signature might help....
Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

The stamp and the signature are from the Kreisleiter of the NSDAP-County Judenburg, Austria

The name of the Kreisleiter was Hans Kotz.

If you want to see a photo of him scroll down to page 87

                          Hi Peter,

Welcome among us! Indeed it is difficult to find any copy of "Mein Kampf" with a dust jacket in decent condition, and this one is more unique than most. The text itself is a standard People's Edition of MK, but the double-page inserted into the front of the book sets this copy off from others. The dedication page informs us that this printing was sponsored by the Organization of German Officials for their comrades in Austria and the Sudetenland in honor of Hitler's 50th birthday, and the opposing page which bears the signature and seal of the Kreisleiter of Judenburg was provided to be personalized with the individual recipient's name upon presentation. In this case, it appears that the presentation of this book never took place, even though the Kreisleiter signed and sealed a number of them in advance.

Congratulations on adding a fine piece to your collection,

                          Br. James
