    14./Inf.Rgt.85 photo album - Poland & France

    Hello everyone,

I´m sharing pictures of this great album for all Inf.Rgt.85 collectors. The album was set up by the veteran Hans Zagel and made it a great documentation of 14./Inf.Rgt.85 during the Poland and France Campaign as I find.

    Enjoy!

    Klaus

Fantastic early-war album. Great captioning throughout, too. Big .

Could you plaese post the larger photos of this crashed Do 17?
      The abandoned Polish aircraft was:
P.7a (6.125) from no.162 Fighter Sqn. This a/c (white 5) was damaged during a combat sortie and taken in town when Widzew airfield must be vacuated. During the night of 5.9.39 German saboteurs attacked the column and this aircraft was dumped in Nowo Solna.

      Robert

While I'll be I guess that 8th Army solider wasn't the first to wear a 'Top-Hat' in the field

                Lovely stuff.
