Hello all,

These 2 pics are for sale on auction on german ebay.

I have the same pictures, bought from the same seller. And I must admit that I was slightly doubtful about them when I got them. Too light and faded in the color, but I cannot say for sure they are fakes. But with the same 2 pics appearing again, I smell a rat.
Seller is holzwurm505, he has fine references. And I am not accusing him in this message, BUT if he has the negatives and mass-produce these pics I think he should let people know.

The husband and wife team have several identities on eBay, mybutterfly1964 is another. They do sell several copies of most photos, so it is possible that all, or some, are copies.

I won't bid anymore on WW2 photos from German sellers when the following item locations are mentioned:

- Hagenow
- Kuhstorf
- Alt Zachun

These are neighboring villages in eastern Germany and IMO their photos are not always original, but reproductions.
