Russian Farmer or Partisan ???

I just picked up this photo on which opinions are welcome. I'm leaning (heavily) towards thinking the Russian is indeed a Farmer (the black / white blur in the left foreground is actually cow being confiscated), but he almost (??) looks like he's wearing Soviet Military style clothing / boots.

Your thoughts ???

I say partisan too, and you can bet your last pound he was dealt with as a partisan too. Mark.

might have just been a farmer that was not happy about his cattle being taken or could of course be a farmer who was a partisan, which is why his cows were being taken while he was taken .... impossible to tell one way or the other from just this photo. Cheers, Torsten.
