I wanted to share some photo postcards from a named WW1 motorcycle soldier. Some are mailed and dated during the war and some not used. There were a lot of his documents, letters, maps, and I.D. with the collection. I thought it was something to share. Sorry for some bad pictures.

In an auction I found a hint (Militärpass) that there was in Berlin - Lankwitz during WW1 a Kraftrad -
unit. The photo has been made 5. Debr 1916 in Berlin-Lankwitz and I think it is the same unit.
" MILITÄRPAß EINES KRADFAHRERS, Kraftradfahrer-Abteilung 12, Kraftrad-Ersatz-Abt. Bln.-Lankwitz, Bayerische Kraftrad-Abteilung 23, zahlr. Einträge 1912-1919, (bis 1915 bei IR 150 bzw. 147), EK I u. II, Militärführerschein Klassen 1, 2 u. 3 b ....."

The first document is a holiday certificate for Leutnant der Reserve Faust from Hofheim i.(m)
T.(aunus), Kreis/County Höchst , today situated in the Main-Taunus-Kreis (County) near Frankfurt /
Main. The vacation was given from 23. Juni - 13 Juli 1915.
His unit was I. Bataillon Reserve-Infanterie Regiment 25

The last document seemes to be addressed to the father of the soldier Adam Faust, Stadt-Rechner
(municipal accounting officer, retired) in Hofheim and it's dealing with the transport of the corps of a
soldier from the battle field to his home address what was not possible because of the war.
