A Strange Parallel

This is interesting. Two photos, of two different soldiers, on opposite sides, taken during two different wars. Both are standing on the same side of the photo, both are wearing their hats the same way, and both look very much alike. Just for fun, I fantasized that this was a time traveler, observing the action of both wars, once as a German and then as an American. As a photographer myself, I find this to be an interesting anomaly. But, then again, I suppose, with millions of photos being taken in both wars, there are bound to be these kinds of similarities between shots. Pretty close, I was a photog years ago. You are right on all counts. Does the WWI guy have a cauliflower ear? Good eye on spotting these pics. I love this section of the Forum.
