there are a number of photos of a Kaserne in either Holland or Belgium (here is one photo with the name) and ther photo shown was in the envelope marked "Frundsberg"

looking through the documentation it turns out that he was captured by Canadian troops in Normandy. Here is some of his later documentation as a POW. this is the British documentation and you will note that it lists tatoo on arm (blood type) and his entry into the LAHComment
