Hello. I'd like to show a very nice grouping of a soldier of 1. Kompanie SS-Panzer-Regiment 2 "Das Reich". I got the grouping from someone who knew the old Paul Weber in person.
The letter says that Paul Weber got MIA on 26.12.1944 but fortunately didn't get killed but went into American captivity where he was the driver of an American medic - with a captured Peugeot from the French, still with the "Das Reich" Division symbol painted on the car!!!
Unfortunately two of the "Panther" photos are blurry. But the portrait of him recoups that. IMO it is one of the most beautiful SS Panzer portraits I've ever seen.
The book has two dedications - one of "Panzermeyer".
I'll let the pictures talk now.
