Narvik Shield awarded to WSS?

Hi,

I have been offered this morning a photograph showing WSS officer wearing a Narvik shield (I do not have a scan, yet). Was any SS personnel awarded this shield? Are there any photos in your collections?

Remember that it is fully possible that a soldier (or in this case, officer) was awarded the shield prior to being transferred to the W-SS.

No SS personnel were awarded the Narvik, however, i do know of at least one case of a former KM sailor, transfering to or back to, the SS and thus wearing the badge. Without looking up the name there is one quite well known w-ss officer who i think was involved in inventing the wirbelwind AA tank who can be seen in photos wearing the narvik in his black panzer SS uniform.
