    Rochus Misch autographed photo

    Hi guys,
can you help with this photo, is this original autograph of Rochus Misch. If so, could you advise what would be the reasonable price for this. I would like to have such photo in my collection, but I have just no idea if the asking price of about 75e that the seller is asking is a good one or should I look for another piece.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bart

His asking price is WAY to HIGH !!!! Keep looking ! The sig. looks good. Tom I see these all over the place for 20 to 30 euros.

      Hello,
It's a good one from Rochus. Taken in the SS Kaserne, Obersalzberg.

I don't want to talk about the price because Rochus did not want to have its autographs sold. It also for this reason that he didn't sign anymore...

      Regards.
      F.

Thats true...I talked to him not long ago and he told me "NO" more signed pic's because people are selling them everywhere ! Try Ebay & google his name and you will see what I mean.

Thanks guys. I understand Mr. Misch's point of view, but try understand mine. As a collector, now the only way for me to get his autographed photo is to buy one. Thanks again guys, I'll keep looking then

I don't think I am alone in thinking that those who ask for signed photos from veterans at zero or minimal cost with the sole intention of selling them on at inflated prices are at best unscruplous charlatans. Even collectors must realise that such a practice is costing them a small fortune and robbing them of the opportunity to have direct contact with the few remaining veterans. Good luck with your quest in finding a signed photo of Rochus Misch, something that would have cost you little more than the cost of a stamp and a courteous letter before the "fast buck" chancers moved in.

                A shame.

Ditto, these rip off artists are ruining it for the rest of us. Here in the States a lot of the more famous veterans began signing photos and model planes and such to assist in supplementing their retirement. At least you know that the money is going into the vets pocket and not some quick buck cheat.

You should find one for around 20 - 30 euros already so 75 is far overpriced.

That's the spirit within collecting Did the same within another field of collecting where I helped new collectors. It's quite rewarding to help others I think.
