Unknown Building

This is from a series of pictures of a Polizei man (who ended up in SS Polizei Division).

This building is unknown to me, but possibly some kind of crypt or memorial (I am thinking that despite the Totenkopf it's not necessarily SS) ? I would love to ID this location if possible.

Hi Gerard,

I can't remember the name of the building at the moment, but it's on a hilltop overlooking Stuttgart (south of the city, I believe). I was there in 2009. Attached is my pic for comparison.

I'll do a bit of poking around to see if I can find the name.

OK, I'm back. It wasn't too hard to find. It's called the Grabkapelle Rotenberg. Here's its website:

The sepulchral chapel on Württemberg hill was erected by King Wilhelm I in memory of his beloved wife Katharina, who died at a young age. Offering spectacular views over Stuttgart, this monument to eternal love is considered Baden-Württemberg’s most romantic spot.
