    Goring signed document

    I've just spotted this.

The Hitler signature is printed but this looks a good authentic example hand signed by Hermann Goring on an attractive document.
This example looks different enough from the Autopen examples shown in these threads to lead me to think it is not an Autopen signature -
It even has a smudge on the 'an' of the first name which I dont imagine an Autopen would produce.

The line width of the signature varies and the ink within the signature ebbs and flows which also indicates a non-Autopen example and also there are obvious areas of ink where the signature has gone back over itself leading to a build up of ink.

Anyway here's the pics. Would anyone care to offer their opinions on this one - I know signatures are a tricky area but I'm really quite keen on this and would like to hear your views.

    Thanks for reading my post.
Please feel free to post your thoughts on this document and the Goring signature therein.

yeah, spotted that one on the stand as well.

the Goering sig looks original to me - hand signed , but as always, that is just imho.

    cheers, del.

      hmm

IMO the jury is still out on these sigs being hand-signed. If you are very certain it is hand-signed, Yeoman, then no problem for you to buy it, I guess.

That's what I like buying Goring's colored pencil signatures - no chance of it being a stamp or an autopen.

            hey Brian.

have you got any examples you could post?

would really like to see a pencil signature by Goering for comparison.

            cheers, del.

I have a couple of examples (2 different colors of pencil) framed together, but can't post them because of my technical incompetence with cameras & computers. I used to have a nice ink signed letter, but I sold it.

                no problem Brian.

if anyone else has some examples of Goerings signature please feel free to post them.

would be nice to build up a decent reference of them.

                cheers, del.

Hello Glock26, on doing research with some Hermann Goring docs I own, I found this thread. These 5 docs all have what I believe to be his red crayon initialing and some writing also. There is some HG doodling in red crayon and pencil at the bottom of the 1st doc. I haven't found any similar docs with his initial, though I was told many years ago that it was a typical mark by him. Best, Bill Bourque

Looks like the same colored pencil in the HG example I used to own.
