What appears to be an Ernst Udet and Marcel Doret (WW1 French Pilot) , WW1 Ace Gerhard Fieseler , Gottlob Espenlaub signatures & many others on a fine silver Cigarette case (possibly these were Pilots who flew in WW1 and competed in 1927 in Berlin)...The case was handed down in a German lady's family and one relative was a pilot and kept this case until he died...Neat story, but nothing is known about the uncle and this appears to have been a gift signed by many folks...Anyone recognize any signatures or suggestions on where to further research this. What a unique artifact, Ed...many thanks for sharing it with us! As to further research of all of the signatures, you might try contacting one of the autograph dealers that specialize in militaria and ask him/her to help you identify the other signatures on this cigarette case...with copies of known signatures as backup, of course! Best of luck; this is quite a challenge!
