thanks i think it might be "Infantrie regiment list" seems long enough and a few of the letters look to match also looks to might have a sheild on his other arm?

Here is a closer shot. It is one of the rarer titles to be found worn in photos. Not sure about the patch on the lower right sleeve. Maybe a trade patch of some sort, but then it appears somewhat larger and not circular as one would expect to see in such an insignia. Patch also looks more square. Would say that photo dates late-war. Have had the photo for a long time now.

i would disagree there on such a rare photo you can't have enought copyright with the amount of pictures ending up on ebay as copys

I agree, Edwards copyright protection is just fine. When you spend a lot of money on photos, this is the only way to share them online.
