Gille's signature is not rare. It is one of the more common autographs available and it is heavily forged.
I don't like the letter at all and as the card appears signed by the same hand.............
            Max.

Unfortunately, I think Max is right. And unless it was you covering it up, SS was not typed in two places and neither was the word Hitler. I think that some forgers look up original docs and copy them verbatim, but this one may have missed the mark.
              Sorry about that.

                      new forger

There is a new forger in mil123 and ebay.
Specialised in documents and letters. Especially with rare names on it like Fritz Witt, v. Scholz and some more. He changes his user name often and does his auctions only private. He claims to be linked with a museum to give him self a good reputation. Everything looks to good to be true. So beware to buy from there.

                        Hello All -

The photo and letter are genuine and so are the signatures.

There are no mistakes in the letter.

There is no private auction, purported links to museum, or any involvement of a seller named mil123.

Oh, what I meant was you blotting out the runes or Hitler's name. It is standard practice on German sites to use photoshop to obscure the images of swastikas, SS runes, Hitler's name and other related symbols. I'm not sure what the legalities are, but most people try to avoid displaying those images when selling or showing items. So I could not tell to a certainty if the SS and Hitler's name were missing, or you photoshopped them out, as some people do. Hope that clears it up.

And After looking at the new images, it looks like a German seller did obscure the symbols, so they were not missing after all. I stand corrected.
