Hello abigor:
Back in 1970 I obtained my first Third Reich Flag. It was a
50x85cm RKF, captured by a WW2 veteran US Army colonel.
His 244mm Artillery unit shelled the Brest U-boat base until
their surrender. Since then, until 2010, I collected trooped
unit flags of all nations and periods. See more flag photos

Very interesting photos. Nice to
see a podium banner type hanging out
of the banks window. Likewise, the RKF
hiked up over the speakers rostrum.

Yeah OFW, I always thought that was an odd place for a nice podium banner to be placed! lol

Those big Nuremberg Stadium flag poles, with
swastika wreath tops, were pretty cool looking.
In 1991 I visited the Nuremberg grounds, where
I was almost eaten alive by guard dogs! OFW

All that was left of those poles was the base plates.

They sure are! They make the flags look that much more impressive. Youre lucky you got to visit at that time before major renovations, that must have been an impressive sight! And the 3rd Army emblem is cool, just screams history! Thanks a lot for sharing those pics

The photo I have doesn't have a date unfortunately. I have seen a lot of similar photos to it, but never captioned with a date.
