Battleship Identification Help Please?

I hope there is not a problem posting this photo in this forum, but I thought it would probably be more likely to be identified here than in the British Militaria section.

This original photo I am sure is HMS Hood. Has anyone any clue as to where this photo may have been taken?

It is the Hood for sure, and it is under way.

But where??

I was thinking the Kiel but I can't find an entry for it in the Hood's log.

Crew appears to be in tropical/summer whites, and there are white canvas sun shields fitted towards the stern. Perhaps the West Indies, or Ceylon or Singapore?

The photo was actually taken on June 25, 1924 as HMS Hood was entering Vancouver Harbour in British Columbia, Canada.
