    Small SS collection

    Hi

Just a very small collection of paperwork and items from a man I once knew. Sadly, he is dead now, but I managed to get a few of his personal items. His uniform was on display at Hemswell Antique Centre. I was promised it, but they did the dirty on me.
He took the push dagger to Russia with him. How he got it, I don't know.

Thought you might like a look at these though.

hi louis22, i knew him many years ago. he was a very good friend, i asked him if had been in the war but he just told me he worked in a vw factory. it was only in his last few days he told his family about his past. he told them about his involvement in russia, how when comming home on leave his ship was sunk and thats how he was captured. he had two uniforms dress/field photo albums, six daggers and loads of other bits all back in germany, when he was released he brought them back and put them away. only found them after his death.

This is an interesting story. If only he was still with us to explain more....

            Hi

Uploaded pics of serial numbers on pocket watch. There is also some etched dates/numbers, but I can't decipher them or take pics.

Sorry but it is missing the star 'J' trade mark so I doubt it is an authentic Junghans
