Waffen SS Photo, KIA 1941, more information please?

I've got two nice 2 W-SS photos here. They are both from the same person. The first picture shows him laying behind an MG34 and the second shows his field grave in Russia, 1941.... Now, there are some signs on the collars of the uniforms. Is someone able to tell me more about the division/regiment of this guy?

It looks like the collar tab has a '3' on it which I believe belonged to SS-Standarte Der Führer which belonged to SS-Division Verfügungstruppe and eventually 2 SS-Panzer Division 'Das Reich'... http://www.axishistory.com/axis-nati...sion-das-reich
