    Hitler Poster

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can tell from this photo if this poster has a chance of being genuine. It measures 20" x 28 1/2"

    Thanks in advance,
    Erwin

    Hi!

    Take a look at here:

    http://www.vads.ac.uk/large.php?uid=26348

    Schroff-Druck, Augsburg

    Measurements Dimensions : 1195 mm x 845 mm...so that 119.5cm x 84.5cm...

    Yours is smaller... 50.8cm x 72.4cm

So maybe a smaller version...or a modern reprint...in my opinion...

About history and meaning of this poster...you can also take a look at theis russian site...:

    http://softsalo.com/german_3_reich_a...ch_agt_10.html

    Using an online translator:

"German propaganda poster Nur Hitler / Hitler only released in 1932-33 Schroff-Druck Ausburg. Poster devoted to the election in 1933 in Germany. The poster shows the rank of Nazi flags and the words "Nur Hitler" (Hitler only). Poster ambiguously says to cast your vote for the party of the Nazi Party and its leader - Adolf Hitler. Black background poster contrasts with the red flag with a swastika, emphasizing the importance of the main choice for the Germans - the Nazi Party."

Just GOOGLING...folks!!! And you can find all you need...

    Cheers!
