ek 2 award document on estand help

i was looking at this award document on the estand

and was woundering if anyone could tell me what this guy was ?? i figured out he was a private or private 1st class ( i could be wrong )

but what else does all the other stuff mean ?? was the guy heer or luftwaffe ,
infantry , artillery , or what ???

iam new at this and any hekp would be appreciated
