    What are these?

    I recently acquired a document set to a former member of Lehrgeschwader 1, and these 2 slips were tucked away in the blank pages of the Leistungbuch.

    Am I right in thinking they are a kind of bank receipt/instruction? I have not seen any of these before.

    Any pointers to what they are? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

    bank transfer or draft. Looks like there is even a kontrollnummer. Definitely bank and money related.

      Possibly receipt/proof of funds transfered to wife?

        Many thanks for your replies.

        I have not encountered these before however, I am sure that you are both right in that they are bank receipt/transfer documents. To be honest, I was very suprised to find them tucked away in the first place!

          It does appear he did indeed send about 480 RM to his wife
