    Fighter pilot group

    After showing my big day fighter group (http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=20662) , I will show you a second group. It`s very interessting, because he had ober 100 kills and got no knights cross.

    Voigt was born 1923 and started his carreer 1939 in the “Flieger HJ”

    In 1943 Voigt became a member of the 6./SG 1 as a pilot for the FW 190<o =""></o>

    After twenty front flights he was awarded with the day fighter clasp in bronce.

      By the following flights he was injurded and got the wounded award in black

          At Sept. 07-1943 he started his 60<sup>th</sup> front flight and was awarded with the day fighter clasp in silver.

                  Oktober 1943 the II. SG 1 was redisignated II.SG 2. The great time of Voigt comes.
                  The group flown security for the old JU 87 of the SG 2 from the places Bagerova, Karankut and Sevastopol.<o =""></o>

                  At Sept. 24 1944 his 9 Kills per day was mentioned in the daily Wehrmachts report.<o ="">
                  </o>

                  13 Kills at May 08- 1944<o =""></o>

                  During the fighting at the krim he was was a spezialist for the famous IL 2. Over 30 IL 2 was blown up by his guns

                  After his 78. kill, an Il 2 he was awarded with the honor goblet.

                    After the end of the fighting at the krim Island the group was transferred to the oil points of Plösty/ Romainia. There he shot down the next 20 planes. Among them there was 3 Mustang and 3 Boing. <o =""></o>

                    After his 98<sup> </sup>kill the was awarded wis the german cross in gold.

                      During a break of 8 month he was educated to an officer and stay a short time by the SG 151 a training unit. During this time he got a schooling on the Me 262.

                      From Feb. 13-1945 to March 27-1945 he shot down another 5 american planes.

                              Another wonderful grouping that you have shared with us Do you know what happened to him after March 1945? Was he captured, was it he just didn't get any more combat kills?

                              If only I had a grouping to exchange
