SS photo album Germania

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share some pictures of a very large SS photo album. He set it up nicely! Obviously postwar as most of all photo albums. Any chance the "G" cyphers are good? I always find them very hard to tell.
Any idea what they are celebrating with the oversized crafted awards around their neck?

Hello Klaus.

It's difficult to see who the owner of the album is from the photos. I presume the officer who was in black uniform pre-war.

A couple of things that stand out as strange. First is the cuff title where the officer is reading something in front of the Swastika flagh. It looks like the Oberbayern skull cuff title or is it the lighting?

Secondly the Anti-partisan badge in the back (which I presume belong to the album owner) but no-one is wearing one in the photos. Not to say this negates credibility of the album.

The oversized neck medals are comedy items. I've seen this type of thing in lieu of the real thing being recieved or for comedy reasons like ' Neck Order of the toilet cleaner' or 'Medal for the first in the food line'.

Intersting album.
