Mystery (one-eyed?) General

Can anyone recognise the General standing in this rarely seen Steyr 640 Kfz21 Kommandeurwagen? It looks looks like he has heavy scarring and only one eye, but it may just be the photo. Thanks for looking, Kerry.

I would go for Recknagel too. RK 05.08.40, Kmdr 111 ID. The yellow rhombus was the divisional sign of 111 ID. And we have the div kmdr pennant.

I'd say most definately von Reichenau - at least, after comparing him and Recknagel to this picture. The shape of the head, the shape of the ears... Not into divisional emblems and "who belongs where", but they just seem to match on physical points.

Thank you all for the comments. And Larry, yes, I was overjoyed, it is so hard to find photos of this type, in fact I also got one in Germany, not so good, and it cost me a few pennies more.

I believe we have settled on Recknagel, many thanks for all of the input. Here is another shot of the same car and, I suspect, the same General. The car looks a little older and a lot dirtier.
