    Hurricane in German markings

    I picked up a fighter pilots group and this photo of a captured Hurricane was among the photos. I wish it was a bit sharper but still quite seldom.

    here was also a nice photo of a 109 with heavy guns under the wings

      and last but not least of a 109 in north Africa (according to the flight book this flyer had a number of flights over Tobruk, Benghasi etc.)

        That is a great photo of the Hurricane. It looks like it is a well known one as Corgi have a model available of it...

        And according to this 2005 thread on 12 OCH Forum the aircraft featured in a magazine article about 'captive' Hurricanes...

        According to a thread on LEMB Forum it states.. Hawker Hurricane MK I German code: DF+SC Used at Rechlin Magdeburg during 1942. It is falsely reported as DF+GC. After use at Rechlin it went to Ausb.Gr.102 (JFS 2).
