..with 10. SS Frundsberg to the east-front

I picked up this big set from a young Guy - Born 1925 - served from the Hitleryouth in 1943 to the SS-Ergänzungsstelle - to the WAffen SS. Service and Training in France in 1943-44. At Beginn April 1944 with the 10. SS Panzerdivision Frundsberg to the Ostfront !
There are 30 Fieldpostletters from the guy...he write his parents about the Training..!
After 12 Days in Action at the East front - the guy have a accident/Crash with is motorbike, he was a kradmelder. He crashed in the night in a Towrope from a Truck.....after one Hour the young guy died...!
I think a verry nice Set - Papers from his time in Hitleryouth, SS Service, nice Portraits and 30 small Picturs from his Time in SS Training ! and at the end - his Deathcard !
The Frundsberg Division - are in hard fighting with Russia troops in April-May 1944 - after this battle they go back to western europe.....

very nice. A interesting history of a person and his trajectory from HJ to SS and accidental death . I wonder what he wrote about the training to his Eltern.

Yes I thought to see that too, no eagle ... and ... 1943 and a cloth covered visor. Interesting, these are supposed to have been worn out by that time and not issued to troops in training. Would love to see a better picture close-up ( or part ) !
              Thx .
