The RAREST Sleeve Patch You Will EVER See....

...and probably the most comical !!!

I can only presume that this "Field Marshal Cook" (note the captured Soviet Shoulder Board) was honored with this custom "Turkey Leg and Sausage" Sleeve Patch for his fine work in keeping his appreciative troops well fed.

I really love those beautiful thick orange Dutch related stripes.

    Thanks for showing.

I am a gtreen arrow fan myself. If he was in the Luftwaffe, would he have a
fully extended chicken wing on his uniform patch? Or would he have a hardboiled
egg if it was his first award? Ah!, the age old question, "which comes first: the
chicken wing or the hard boiled egg?"

I wonder how he earned his Black Wound Badge...by fighting (and clearly failing) to stop smoking "Cold Turkey" ???

I think it is a Deutsches Reichssportabzeichen instead of a Woundbadge.

Probably won for the three-legged race.
