Italian Military Internees (Italienische Militärinternierte, IMI) 35mm Negatives

I have been going through some 35mm negatives here and found these images of Italian POWs in Austria (?). The negatives are labeled 1944 St. Veit, Ital. Zusammenbruch. Translated: Italian Collapse. A preliminary search on the web did not yield much information. In any case I hope you find these interesting and can add information for the benefit of all members.

Thanks for sharing these excellent photos! Great shots of all manner of uniforms,
Boots and even a good boot sole shot showing hobnail layout, also nice shots of field gear and head gear.

also I find it interesting that it looks like their German captors have already stripped the men of any medals, I could not see any in the photos, souvenir hunters must have been hard at work lol!
