I have an old document called an Impsschein which I believe is a birth certificate, but I cannot find the German word Imps*** in any dictionary or translator. I believe it's an old German word for birth which is no longer in use. Maybe Gerdan can help please?

Impfschein is vaccination certificate

Geburtsurkunde (or rarely Geburtsschein) is birth certificate.

Thanks Gerdan. I know Geburts*** refers to birth, but the certs I have are really old and obviously I misread the old German "f" for a "s".
