Group Hauptmann Panzer-Pionier German Cross CCC Silber Solduch + Docs + Pics....

Hi Guys. It's been a long time I didn't share one of my Group there. Here is one I get directly from the Vet in 1998.... I knew him pretty good and he didn't agree for it's Name being published and so on... That is the Reason why I have covered his Name. He served mostly in two well known units : 1st and 20th Panzer-Division, among the Panzer-Pioniere....
He received the german Cross in Gold and Close Combat Clasp in Silber.
That is a nice complete Group, also with interesting Pics.
Panzer-Div. Enthousiasts will probably appreciate this Grouping. Lionel.

First, Soldbuch. The two best documents. CCC Silver signed by Horst Warschnauer, who received KC on Dec.12th 1942 as a Oblt in 2./Pio.Btl."GD" and the Oakleaves as a captain and Unit Leader from the Pz.Pio.Btl."GD". He assumed command from the Pz.Pio.Btl.37 for just a little time. <p><img src="http://cdn04.trixum.de/upload2/I/T/IT8jlZvYQudX136657097395P1683.jpg"></p> <p><img src="http://cdn02.trixum.de/upload2/A/u/Auo18PivVOST136657099445P1683.jpg"></p>

Some Pics. On the 2nd one, the Captain is just presenting the Iron Cross to his Men from the Pz.Pio.Btl.92 (20.Pz.Div.) in 1944. Some more Pics in a few Minutes. <p><img src="http://cdn04.trixum.de/upload2/G/D/GDXMzp7l3hmf136657157868P1683.jpg"></p> <p><img src="http://cdn01.trixum.de/upload2/x/1/x1kw4cBUZfjg136657158499P1683.jpg"></p>

This one is not bad.. Poor Quality, but showing all Commanders from 20.Pz.Div. in 1945.... If anybody could provide me the Name from the KC Holder on the Left, I would a^ppreciate this Help !! <p><img src="http://cdn04.trixum.de/upload2/4/d/4dLoTKfNYcMP136657206115P1683.jpg"></p>

I love this one too.... The Captain and its Dog discussing with his Men.... There are a lot of other Papers and Docs in the Group, but well, I makes no sense to present them all.....

I hope you enjoyed it ! Lionel.

Absolutely outstanding grouping Lionel, but then I've already told you that about this one

Love that shot of the SdKfz.251/7

                      Best,
                      Rob

                        nice!
                        1,where is his Ostmedal document?
2,no documents showing his services in stab./Pz.Pi.Btl.92?
3,is there coming with his close fighting days lists for both CCC grades?
4,the CCCiS was issued when he was in Btl.37,but in his SB, the seal for this entry is the Btl.92.

I am not so surprised the type wrong in DK VB: Pz.Pi.Btl.38
this is my third time to see the mistake in DK document. but it is my first time saw it in VB,not BU.

                          Hi Cole.

Excuse me for the Ostmedal Award, it's missing. I would have send a rude Letter to the Vet to get it back, but he passed away for some Years....
No List of CC Days. These Germans had no order at all....

Concerning the CCB Silver, The document was probably issued by the Pz.Pio.37, and transmitted to him in it's new unit. The Award was then confirmed in the SB by the new Unit. More than common !!!

Dear Cole, searching for "defects" in other Collectors Groups is a nice hobby for sure, showing his own perfect Stuff is better ! I am awaiting to see the first absolutely complete DK-Group you will post on the WAF... !!
