I just got this at an antique store....framed in a heavy frame...Erlo von der eigenen Scholle ("from the neighborhood") passed the 4. Service Dog Test from the Reichsbahn in Regensburg, being one of the best in his class!

The dog's name " Erlo v.(on) d.(er) eigenen Scholle" I would translate
" Erlo from the native/domestic soil "

the size is between DIN A 4 and DIN A 3.
I am surprised that Hundestaffel has not said "whoof" about this document. I am sure he will be able to tell us quite a bit more.
