    Waffen SS "Wiking" grouping

    Hello,
For a friend of me, what do you think about this "Wiking" group?
    Do you know this soldier?
Did you ever seen others documents for this soldier?
Many thanks and have a nice day.
    U571.

Gents, sorry to say but I think this could be bad (I don’t collect paper stuff but I know German and this isn’t professional enough to pass the common since test) – the following things jump out: misspelling of the abbreviated grade of the soldier (should be SS-Ustuf), the quotations around Wiking, should be top and bottom, and the doctors signature looks weak… It’s a no go from my perspective…

The one instance when incorrect abbreviations and spelling mistakes are more acceptable than with any other award document is on wound badge docs issued by rear area hospitals, you see it all the time.

A pity the group isn't complete, there's at least a WB in black, EKI and almost certainly an ostmedaille missing
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this group IMO!

                Kind regards, Peter

I can´t stop thinking of how lucky the original receiver, or the inheritor,
of these docs where during the damaging period. Even though the big damages there is no damage to stamps, names, or other significant parts.
IMHO a really interesting group if original and in better condition, like this not for me.
                  Kind regards
                  Göran

Even in this condition still an interesting grouping.

                      Best regards
