Vets had different tastes in that era, the "Olga/husky" bowling pin shape was considered desirable. I'll pass, LOL.

did you know lovely actress lauren becall - I believe of jewish ancestry - played the mother of a KIA german soldier back in the I think 1980s? and played it with heart and expertly. very touching when she visited the ggravesite at the soldatenfriedhof. don't remember the name of the movie.
