A Heer RK winner ...

Gentlemen,

One of my favorite portraits of a Heer soldier. Most of my remaining collection of photos are Luftwaffe portraits.

An RK winner, CCC in Silver, IAB, wound badge, ribbon bar, EK1. And a nice visor cap to boot along with gloves!

You can't see it well in the image but it is stamped "W. Adler, Coburg" as well.

Can anyone identify this soldier?

Mike, I don't know who he is, but it is a terrific shot--his medals (and look) personify the stereotypical NCO. He does not have any WW1 medals, but it looks like he has been in the Heer for a long time. The backbone of the Wehrmacht.

PS--he also appears to have won the DKiG.
