Grave photo of German soldier with Dutch name, help needed!

Hello all,

I collect photo's/ deathcards/ cards/ books/ wehrpasses etc that are related to the most southern part of The Netherlands and in particular the city of Maastricht.

I once bought this photo on Ebay and the seller mentioned the city Maastricht was written down in the photo album besides the photo.

What botheres me is that I can find no info about this soldier.
Volksbund finds no match with this name.

The grave reads:

Uffz
W. Huskens
Gefal 18.5.40

I know the battle for Maastricht ended the first day (10-05-40), but could it be that this soldier was wounded on the first day and died 8 days later?
The Germans had a hospital in Maastricht with it's own graveyard.

So did this soldier fight in Maastricht and was he buried there?
Was he a Dutchman (or Volksdeutscher) in the German Army?
Or maybe he was a part of the Brandenburger Commando's who's task it was to secure the bridges before the main invasion?

Is there anyone who can help me with more info?

I can't tell if the name it spelt wrongly on the grave marker or in the database
