Hi, last week I was offered these photos. Seller told me they are taken in Dachau KL. And to the back it is written also Dachau 1941. I would like to know if anybody can recognize this place. The barracks don't seem to be the area dedicated to inmates. I don't see any inmate walking arround. And I cannot see the barbed wire typical in KL. Photos seem to be taken by a KL guard from a surveillance tower, and barracks could be those from SS personell? Administration barracks, as well as kitchens, kantine, etc? What's your opinion?

Well, there's no barbed wire or water ditches (moats) as at Dachau, but there is washing hanging out to dry and a vehicle parked in the yard. It certainly does not look like a KL to me. There's no security measures at all. I think the Dachau description is bogus.

Hi,
The prisoners huts at dachau were in rows of two across with a central walkway right down the centre to the rear of the camp, so definately not Dachau.
