Very intressting pic.Never saw a miniature like that.I think there are 2 possibilities:

      -normal IAB miniature.
      -stickpin of a unit.

      Hope i helped

Yes it is but I can not remember which one....if I remember correctly it was a Schlachtgeschwader....which would go with his Bomber clasp!

            It was Schlachtgeschwader 2 (Sch.G 2)..pre 1943!

Not to be mistaken for Sturzkampfgeschwader 2 "Immelmann" (St.G. 2) which was renamed Schlachtgeschwader 2 (S.G. 2 "Immelmann") 18.10.43...

            Schlachtgeschwader 2 (Sch.G 2) was renamed S.G. 4, 9 and 10 on 18.10.43.

Thank you guys for your interesting anwsers!
The pic is from a album i bought from a fellow collector.
There are quite a lot of plane pics in the album, Hs129, Hs123, Me109, Bf108 "Taifun" and other planes.

I found those two unit signs on the pictures:

The other sign (i guess it is Jagdgeschwader 54):

By the way: did you notice that he is wearing the fighter clasp upside down?
