    Reading a name

    Hi guys.

    Can you make out what the characters before the name are? Also can you confirm the name is "Hellwig"?

    Hellwig definitely. First letter may be a "G".

      Wonderful thank you Hank. A 'G' would certainly fit with the history of the piece. I will follow up with more photos once the tunic is in hand.
