Given the few number of foreign boats to serve in the KM and even fewer that actually sailed operationally then yes this has to be very rare.
Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

        Hi Mosquito,

As a Dutchman and Uboatfan I really like your little ex O-27 UD-5 grouping.
From time to time material from that Uboat does show up, she made two war-patrols and was later a training Uboat with the U-Abwehrschule in Bergen Norway, over the years from November 1941 to May 1945 she did have a lot of crewmembers, but I must say that material from her Operational Front period are rarer.

The Tauchretter photos are often seen in other Uboat groupings and photo-albums and are nearly always from the same series.

I see that you did mark Viktor Lutze (December 28, 1890 – May 2, 1943) who was the commander of the Sturmabteilung succeeding Ernst Röhm as Stabschef. He died from injuries received in an automobile accident. Lutze was given an elaborate state funeral in Berlin on May 7, 1943, the man next to him is Werner Hartmann, CO. on U 26, U 37 and U 198.

        Thanks for showing.

        Best regards

        Eric-Jan

Some of the items is kind of rare or interesting. If pictures taken up to the end of war its better. Some of the smaller pictures seems to be from Bergen/Marineholmen in Norway. Having some similar ones with UD-3 and UD-5If so they are taken after UD-5 arrived at the U-Abwehr school at Hatvik.
            regards
            lolle
