    Latvian Ss Photo Cammo Jacket

    hI THERE ,
    thought i would show another photo from my old collecting days .
    I know the wearing of cloth insignia on cammo jackets /smocks was not supposed to be allowed but often ignored by soldiers , this photo ( sorry for the poor quality ) shows the arm shield being worn on the cammo jacket which i think may be quite scarce also the photo shows two different styles of arm shield being worn at the same time , nothing to set the house on fire but i think its a nice pic .
    for those of you with any interest ..this photo was taken out side a
    " knocking shop " in Norway

    Hi!

    Unfortunately the pic is none too clear, but I can just about make out what looks to be the Latvian shield on the man on the right. However, I have absolutely no information that any Latvian SS units (or men) were ever in Norway. What is your source for the pic that indicates Norway?

      many thanks for your reply ,
      this photo and several more , taken at this building were given to a friend of mine by the latvian service man , back in the early 1980s` he told my friend that they were taken at a brothel in Norway ? sorry if this does not add up the vet did not state if they were on leave or posted there ,
