    little help please

    Gents,
I picked these up at a flea market in Kaiserslautern Germany when I was stationed there. I am more into collecting badges so never really looked into more information about them. They are numbered on the back and measure approx 2" X 3".

Can anyone comment on the rarity and collectability of these images? I would like to sell or trade ion e stand if there is any interest. Thank you for your time

    Phil

They are for the various cigarette albums produced during the 3rd Reich period (Adolf Hitler, Der Staat der Arbeit und des Friedens, etc.). Generally the title of the album is the large lettering on the top of each card. I'm not sure if they're very collectable, as there seems to be oodles of both albums and loose cards.

          Mate,

There are a lot about but your best bet I think would be to list them by Album name and card number.

There are also lots of incomplete albums out there and someone may need those to complete their album?

          You never know!

          Regards

          Jock

            Hi,

I presently own seventeen TR period cigarette card album titles, and can think of about thirty more titles which were produced over the time period; and there will be many more.
Loose cards are cheap to obtain, (I was given 60+ for free with a recent purchase from various sets) but are required by collectors to complete albums with missing cards.
As previously advised they could be advertised by giving the number and title the cards are from on the E-Stand. but I could not advise how mush to charge for an individual card!
Postage may also be a prohibative factor for collectors, in some cases being more expensive than the actual cards purchased.
This is why complete albums have a good selling price, and incomplete albums are very cheap; searching for several cards to complete albums is like looking for a needle in a haystack!

            Best wishes,

            John.

              Hi,
              (Again)
As an afterthought, I have the album "Kampf Um's Dritte Reich" which is missing five or six cards!
I notice that some of your loose cards come from this album.
If you send my a PM with the card numbers you have, and they are the ones I require I think I could buy the missing cards from you, should we come to an agreeable price for us both.
There must be many collectors requiring cards for these albums - and many people with loose cards which are gathering dust.

              Best wishes,

              John.

I just sent you the numbers I have. I hope that I can help you complete your set.
Im not really attached to them so if anyone else wants to inquire as to cards I may have to complete your sets feel free to hit me up.

                Thank you for the information
